Another long day of travelling, and Kel decided to buy Dorian for the bus, the smelliest fruit in the world (cheers for that). 4 hours to the border, a dollar in our passports and didn't even need to go into the office. Another 3 hours travel in Vietnam to get to our homestay for the night. Stopped for lunch on the way, had pho bo which is a noodle soup, very nice but hard work with chopsticks.
Got to the homestay at about 5pm, was expecting to be all in a big room together (like a dorm), but we all have our own room and weirdly there is wifi???
Mr Pheong and his family are our hosts and gave us a tour of the village which is needless to say very poor. They cooked us dinner (and we got to cook a little bit too), it was amazing but alot, probably the nicest food I've had yet.
An early night tonight for a 5am start in the morning. Have seen rats and lizards running everywhere, not sure how well I'm going sleep.
Eew! Sleep with one eye open.
