On the bus for 10.30 and on our way to Hobbiton, the set of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies. Everyone was incredibly excited, like little kids, can't wait to get there.
Before the tour started i took a look in the gift shop and spotted something i just had to have, The One Ring 😄. Off on the tour and walking around all the hobbit holes and finishing at the Green Dragon for a beer. A great day in the sun.
A short drive onto to Rotorua. 30 of the group had booked onto an overnight stay at a Maori village leaving 8 of us to stay in Rotorua. A nice chilled out, domesticated evening.
