Day 119 - Queenstown to Lake Tekapo

Up and on the bus for 9.30 after saying goodbyes to most of the people I've been travelling with.

Our first stop was at Lake Pukaki which was stunning, the bluest waste i have ever seen with Mount Cook as a backdrop.

Then onto Lake Tekapo which is equally as beautiful, the town is very small though, it took about 3 seconds to drive through. All checked in and everyone is just having a chilled evening after the frivolities of Queenstown. So just sat around chatting and then watched a movie and then an early night after going down to the lake and staring up at the clear sky to see the stars as Lake Tekapo is the largest black sky reserve in the world. It was amazing to see all the stars but I've definitely seen better back home.
