Started the day off getting soaked through walking down to meet the bus. We stopped off at Lake Matheson to see the mirror reelection of Mount Cook in the water, unfortunately it was tipping it down so there wasn't much of a view.
Stopped off a few more times including Lake Hawea which was stunning especially as the sun had now made an appearance.
Then on to Wanaka getting there at about 5pm. All checked in and out for a walk, this is a truly beautiful town, sat on the side of Lake Wanaka with snow topped mountains in the background. This is definitely a place i could spend some time.
